Pastor Curt and lovely bride Lisa Lapham

It all started when...

Lisa invited Curt to Grass Lake Assembly of God on December 4, 1978 while they were both still in high school.  Curt met Jesus as his Lord and Savior that day.  Almost immediately Curt began to serve as a Royal Ranger Commander and later as a Bible teacher. Our Pastor has also served as assistant or associate pastor with numerous Assembly of God churches in military communities across the country and as a Army Chaplain in Germany. 

Pastor Curt was bi-vocational and recently retired as a lieutenant colonel from an Army JROTC program for Genesee County.  He served in the Army for 41 years.  

Pastor Curt's greatest passion, since becoming our pastor in 2017, is for us to move forward in faith and for our community to know us as, "The Small Town Church with a Big Heart."  We look forward to welcoming you to our church.
